April Snow Showers Bring May RainbowsApril (snow) showers bring May rainbows!  If you live in Chicago, you definitely know what I’m talking about! Who knew that we would still be getting snow in April and all this crazy rain?! I thought we were heading into spring, but Mother Nature had other plans for us. You also know you’re an adult when all you talk about is the weather 😂. Lately, I feel like my life revolves around the weather. Mostly because I’m coaching track outdoors. Some days I just stalk the weather app and especially on meet days to see if the meets will actually happen.

Asides the crazy weather, I really like spring because of all the changes. I love seeing the flowers bloom again and I love the extra daylight. Another thing I like about spring is giving new life to my wardrobe. Transitioning outfits from season to season is one of my favorite things to do and I also like seeing how many ways I can wear something. I’ve worn this sweater multiple times, but I’ve never worn it like this and I was definitely digging the final product. Same actually for all the pieces I’m wearing.

I also tend to get new frames in the spring. Since I wear glasses every day, I thought this fun orange color would be great for spring/summer. It’s that little extra pop of color I wanted in my life. I got these ones from GlassesShop. They have such cute frames and at affordable prices. First time customers can enter code FIRSTFREE for a free pair of glasses or buy one, get one free (frame + lenses) with code GSBOGO.
