Oh baby, it’s definitely cold outside! I’m surprised that my face was able to make facial expressions after being outside for literally one minute while trying to take these photos. Yeah, the snow is pretty (when it’s not snowing during rush hours), but the cold is on another level. Usually, Chicago doesn’t get these frigid temperatures until January (when we’re a little bit more mentally prepared), so that’s why everybody has been freaking out about the freezing temperatures.
My outfit is pretty cozy, but it’d definitely be more cozy inside in front of a fire. I’m a huge fan of these slouchy tunics from Shop The Mint. They’re so comfy and versatile (see previous post here). Plus, a pop of pink makes the winter blues disappear for a bit 🙂 I also don’t think I’m ever going to take off my winter coat. It has already been a savior to me from the cold and I hope it will continue to be on my next adventure! While everybody is probably going somewhere warm for winter break, I’ve decided to go somewhere colder than Chicago. I’m going to Montreal and Quebec City! I’ve never been to Canada and I’ve wanted to go for so long. If anybody has been to either of those places before, give me recommendations please!
