If you’re looking to fill the black velvet dress void in your life, ladies, then you’ve waited just long enough to score this dress for $17! Yes, you read that correctly. I love how versatile this dress is. First of all, it’s a wrap dress with tassel ties – how unique. I layered the dress with a striped turtleneck because I wanted a more casual/fancy day look into night look AND because it’s still cold out. The pink accessories add just the right amount of color and contrast and my mom’s earrings add a touch of vintage.

I also wore this dress to my friend’s holiday party, without the shirt, with a sequin jacket and silver heels. Don’t let me mislead you into thinking it’s warmer than it really is because I’m not wearing tights, but it has been more bearable being outside. There are so many ways to wear and layer this dress that it would be a shame if it wasn’t in your closet. Plus, it gives me major 90s nostalgia wearing it and that’s truly what I’m grateful for today.
