Garden Party

Garden Party - 2One of my favorite events from this summer was this garden party (photo) at Blue Door Kitchen & Garden. I felt like I was in France with all the beautiful flowers and oh-so perfect decor details on the outdoor patio. I seriously can’t wait for chillier weather to eat inside the restaurant too. It’s just sooo pretty and delicious!

A garden party definitely calls for a cute outfit as well. My knit tank is one I’ve had in my closet forever but this was the first time I paired it with this electric blue mini skirt (an amazing find from Crossroads Trading) tucked in for a more feminine feel rather than hanging loose. That’s a great way to change up your wardrobe. I know I’m guilty of always pairing the same top and bottom together, but you never know what new combination you can create once you switch up your pieces in your closet that you already have!

Oxfords are always great to have year round too. You can wear them dressed up or down. Stick with a neutral color though for more wear. Top off your outfit with a perfect pair of sunnies and you’re all set to smell the flowers and have a cocktail or two! Garden Party - 4 Garden Party - 1 Garden Party - 3 Garden Party - 5Knit Tank: (option) // J.Crew via Crossroads: Skirt (option) // Old Navy: Oxfords (option) // Hermes: Bracelets (option) // Ray-Ban: Sunglasses
