Hi, May! I’m so happy to finally see you! It’s been raining a lot lately (hence my first post of the week because of the weather fail), so I’m hoping Chicago will be overflowing with flowers any minute now making us forget about all this rain! One of my favorite spring activities to do in the city is stroll along the Riverwalk. I like people and boat watching, plus the Riverwalk has lots of cute restaurants along the way. It also makes you escape the city because it’s down below the hustle and bustle where you can see people smiling and having fun 🙂 It also reminds me that warmer times are (hopefully) ahead and that it’s almost the end of the school year – what I’m really looking forward to!
Also, this post reminds me that I need to start planning my summer! How can I forget to do that? Well, my first goal is to get through the next five weeks and then I can finally breathe again. I promise I will come out of hibernation in June! The end of the school year is always a bit overwhelming, but I have to remind myself that there is an end in sight and to just accomplish one small goal after goal to get everything in order for the following school year. Summer break is definitely a reward, but a well-deserved one!!
