Hello, honey 🙂 Isn’t this such a cute tee?! Eleni got this for me on our Tennessee road trip from Draper James – such a cute southern shop! I love adding a ‘lil bit of southern style to my midwestern style. So sometimes I surprise myself how I come up with outfits. I’ve had this sequin jacket for a few years now and it’s one of my favorite pieces to style because you wouldn’t think sequins could be styled in so many ways (and for work too), but they can! Then I had gone shopping at GAP a few weeks ago and found these joggers for $15! I love a good GAP sale. Over half my closet is GAP, but hey, they know what I like and can afford. I thought to myself, how would I ever wear these, but I knew I should get them just in case. I’ve also been eyeing these ADIDAS sneakers for a while and couldn’t decide what color (they come in 9 different colors!) to pick, but I decided to go with the blush ones.
Then as I was organizing my closet, all the pieces jumped out at me and the color scheme they created was perfection. I had worn heels with this outfit for brunch a few weeks ago, but I felt more comfortable with my sneakers. I’m also getting a lot of wear out of this coat because it’s reversible. Side note, this is the first time I’ve actually photographed it this way. I also wear this coat and then wear my winter coat over it for extra warmth. Other times when I’m putting a look together, I first choose what I want to be the main piece of the outfit and build from there. This look worked like a puzzle and that’s another fun way to put a look together. I bet you didn’t think you had to “build” an outfit, but you really do! Hope my thought process was insightful 🙂
