Welcome to Makeup 101 🙂 I usually like wearing natural or minimal makeup, but on occasion I’ll have my makeup done and feel oh so pretty. This year I told myself that I should “learn” how to do makeup better. Is it weird that I’m well into my thirties and I’m still learning everything about makeup? The makeup world is so foreign to me. There are days (and mostly all weekends) where I don’t even wear any makeup. As long as I have some concealer and mascara, I’m pretty much good to go.

This is where My Make-Up Brushes come to the rescue! Not only are their brushes super chic (love the oval shape of the brushes) they even label what each brush is supposed to be used for which is so helpful. The bristles are so soft and my makeup applies smoothly. The brushes didn’t irritate my skin and I felt like my makeup was spread evenly and not caked on.

Did you know that you should clean your concealer and foundation brushes at least once a week, brushes used around your eyes should be cleaned at least twice a month and all other makeup brushes should be cleaned at least once a month?
