Ladies and gentlemen, I have researched all that MB Financial Park at Rosemont has to offer, so trust my expertise when I say you have to try and go everywhere in this post. Don’t worry, I also ate and drank at ten locations in one night and nearly passed out from food overload, but it was all in the name of research 😉 The greatest thing about staying at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel from yesterday’s post was that it was seriously steps away from the Park. MB Financial Park truly has something for everyone no matter what age. From food and drinks, to skydiving, bowling, movies and top ranked comedians in the country, you never know what excitement you’ll experience in the Park. Let me also preface, that I had already eaten at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel right before this tour.

FOOD & DRINK
The first stop of the night was The Sugar Factory. I could have stopped right there because I legit felt like a little kid in a candy store and didn’t want to leave! There is such a fun vibe from the moment you enter with a red carpet entrance, to the crazy amounts of candy and the very chic restaurant area including a heated patio. The Sugar Factory is well known for their legendary smoking candy goblets = AMAZING!!!
Next on the tour was Park Tavern which is a contemporary spin on the gastropub experience. They have over 40 craft beers on tap and the best grilled cheese sandwiches! There’s also a rooftop bar that I can’t wait to check out in the summer.
Alright, now this is what I call an authentic experience. It felt like I was really in Brazil especially with the help of the caipirinhas that were simply PERFECT!!! Even if you don’t love big amounts of meat, you can enjoy their massive salad bar and lunch specials. I will definitely be going back real soon.
Adobe, what can I say?! You never have to stop me from talking about Mexican food and drinks. I loved the table-side fresh guacamole and margaritas. They are known for their fishbowl sharable drink and live entertainment every night of the week along with the huge TVs – perfect for game day.
My favorite part of Five Roses Irish Pub was this gorgeous library room! You truly feel like you came out of an Irish romantic novel eating the most amazing fish and chips in the “city” and sipping on some dark beer. Interesting facts about this restaurant is  that the mahogany bar was handcrafted in Belfast, most of the furnishings and decor were imported from Ireland and it was named after the late Rosemont Mayor Donald E. Stephens. Also, in the summer, it’s a great spot for the outdoor concerts. Thank me in a couple of months.
If you’re also looking for another cultural experience, look no further than a couple of buildings away to Hofbrauhaus. It’s a one-of-a-kind German micro-brewery, beer hall, restaurant and beer garden modeled after the 400-year-old original in Munich. Basically, if you like beer go here. I am a fan of the pretzels, just saying. There’s live entertainment and always a packed house.

ENTERTAINMENT
There are three Zanies locations in Illinois – Rosemont, Chicago and St. Charles. They all bring in hilarious stand up comedians in an intimate setting. Who wouldn’t want a night of laughs, drinks and food?! Afterall, isn’t comedy the best medicine around?!
Onto Kings… I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Kings in Lincoln Park a few months back and this location doesn’t disappoint either. This location has 20 state of the art ten pin bowling lanes, two full service bars, a boutique billiards lounge, 60 HD televisions and a separate full service restaurant with patio seating. My favorite part was the private bowling lanes, I won’t reveal my score – let’s just say that the swedish fish drinks had something to do with my outcome…
Now I can definitely get behind dinner and a movie at the same place. Muvico is unique in that you can order food to eat while you watch the latests films. You can also just grab dinner and drinks at Bogarts in a vintage looking lounge and enjoy your night.
I’m going to be honest here. My intentions were to try iFLY, but I apparently ate and drank at ten restaurants in about two hours, so unfortunately this didn’t happen for me. No worries, I will definitely try it soon though… iFLY creates a true free falling skydiving experience without the actual fear of jumping out of an airplane – eek! If you aren’t feeling the daredevilish feeling, you can always go to the upper level and enjoy the crazy stunts by the professionals and amateurs 🙂
Are you hungry or thirsty from reading all this?! Stay tuned for the last post on the Chicago Fashion Outlets tomorrow.
