Yesterday was my 30th birthday! Can you believe it because I really can’t. Apparently time flies fast when you’re having fun (typical cliche) but honestly, I can’t complain. I remind myself that everything will be okay and that life is truly wonderful with all the ups and downs. I really didn’t want to make a big deal about my birthday this year, but I’ve had fun celebrating these past few days and will continue through this weekend. Hey, I never said I didn’t like celebrations. Besides, I still have to wear my Material Girl dress (preview coming soon). Speaking of which, I had a long night at work on Wednesday and when I finally got home I had an unexpected package waiting for me. It was the cutest T-shirt dress and cat tote from the Ten Sixty Sherman team. (You should all start following them because they are the best!) It was a total surprise and I loved it. I wore it all day yesterday and it was so cute and comfy. It’s small gestures like that that make the big moments matter more. On that note, I’m looking forward to a great year ahead!
