Rain, rain, stay! I’m only saying that because I saw there is snow in the forecast for this upcoming weekend and I would rather have rain than snow! I can’t believe that everything is happening so fast right now. I feel like 2017 is really eager to finish up and I don’t blame her. I do love this time of year though because there are so many gatherings of friends and family and the colors are just perfect.

This past weekend, my friend Dina and I did a staycation at the Conrad and we had so much fun despite all the rain. This outfit was perfect for said staycation, thanks to Zaful, because it was just the right amount of coziness and cuteness. I’m all about the velvet trend not only because it’s so fun, but because it reminds me of when I wore velvet when I was younger. I can vividly remember wearing a maxi purple velvet sleeveless dress to a high school dance. Oh nostalgia! At least this time around I get to wear velvet whenever I want and not just to school dances – LOL. I have a few more velvet pieces on their way, so stay tuned for those.
