It finally feels nice to wear some spring denim!
One of my favorite activities to do in the city is to go to different neighborhoods and go to coffee shops. I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about that before on HAMR, but this cute walk up coffee window is a bit of a new hidden gem in Lincoln Park. The original Maison Marcel is a super cute bakery/cafe in Lakeview, but they’ve recently opened a walk up coffee window in an alley. You think you’re just walking down a regular Chicago alley (which I don’t highly recommend just strolling down alleys π), but then you see this beautifully painted outdoor space with chill music. You would never expect to see that after walking past a few dumpsters. So obviously, I’ve made several trips to this coffee spot!
I was happy that I could finally bust out my denim skirt that I got at the end of last summer and I’m hoping to get more wears out of it this summer. I’m still going strong on the pearl hair clips – I just can’t get enough of them. Actually, my sister sent me a link on what my (nick) name (Peggy) means which means little pearl. No wonder I’ve been on board with pearls forever. For those that don’t know, my real name is Panagiota, but everyone calls me Peggy. I’m named after my maternal grandparents who both had the same name; just male and female versions, obviously. Panagiota means all holy from the Virgin Mary. I love all my names though!!
Anyway, I’m heading to Orlando tonight with some friends and I’m super excited to enjoy some time in the sun. I hope everybody has a safe and beautiful weekend!
π,
Peggy
