Summer in February

I’ll take summer in February every year, please! What a gorgeous weekend we had here in Chicago and what a treat! I’m glad that I have today off as well to enjoy the beautiful weather just one more day before going back to work and before winter decides to come back later on this week. I instantly felt like a whole different person this weekend because of the weather. I loved swapping out my winter coat for a light spring floral bomber jacket and these fun heart embellished coral spring sling-backs. Since my summer wardrobe constantly consists of overalls, I thought it was appropriate to wear them this weekend as well.

Asides from the gorgeous weather, I had an fun-filled weekend with Monica. We went out for sushi, saw High Fidelity the Musical (which is amazing and so well done), then we were part of a lookbook for Holly & Tanager, a Chicago-based handbag brand (I can’t wait to share images: here’s a preview 1 & 2) and now we’re brunching and blogging at Soho House. I also attended a girl power workout session of cycling and yoga at Studio III with my other favorite chica, Sapna. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and better friends to hang out with. What did you all do this weekend? Anybody else want summer to stick around in February for just a tad bit longer!
