Over Memorial Day weekend I went to sunny L.A. for my friend Monica’s 30th birthday celebration. It was seriously one of the best weekends of my life! We had a full itinerary of fun planned and fun we had!! We stayed off of the famous Sunset Strip and had the best time by the pool. Not only did we celebrate the birthday girl all weekend, but another highlight was seeing where Leonardo DiCaprio lives 🙂 It was nice just getting away for the weekend and to prep for summer break. I’ll definitely be going back to explore the city more some other time.

Now that I’m on summer break, I feel sooo good. I’ve been able to catch up on life and believe it or not, I’ve been able to finally relax! Also, I’m almost ready to leave for my big summer trip which is coming up faster than I thought it would. I’m still trying to iron out some last details, but I know that I’m bringing this lemon dress with me. It’s so cheery and cute; don’t ya think?! I’ll be living out of my suitcase for five weeks so I really have to choose wisely which clothes I’ll be bringing with because space is limited. So stay tuned for creative vacation outfit posts.
