Coachella Wanna Be

Coachella Wanna Be - 4This is my Coachella wanna be¬†(Chicago style) look. With the festivals coming up the next two weekends, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of creative looks from festival goers and discovering some new tunes. Festival season definitely means that summer is arriving and I’m all about that. I’m not quite sure what my summer plans will be but I know that I want to be free as a bird (hence my pants) and just go where the wind goes… I’m also liking my free spirited approach to life lately. There’s no reason to stress about the little stuff and if something is meant to be, hopefully ūüėČ it’ll be…¬†Coachella Wanna Be - 6I’ve also taken a bit of a break from arm parties, but that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped partying! My new favorite obsession is layering up dainty necklaces. My favorite necklace of all time is my Peggy necklace, but I do have to say so myself that my hashtag and peace necklace compliment it very well! I’ll Fly Away

ill-fly-awayI’m officially on summer break¬†from school, finally! I’m not going to lie, it feels great.¬†Vacation mode did start Memorial Day weekend though with a quick trip with one of my best friends D to Nashville with a pitstop in Louisville. I’ve been to Kentucky before and it’s always a blast there. I really liked exploring the city again even though it was only for a couple of hours to Nashville and back.

Anyway, back to Nashville which was also awesome. We did the touristy thing a bit and it was fun just hanging out with D and catching up. We like to do a girls’ trip every year, but this summer there are going to be more trips. These photos were from the first day. I’m sure D loved taking my outfit photos all around town.

It was also ironic that right by our hotel was a replica of the Parthenon. Being Greek girls, of course, we decided to explore. We only wished we were in Athens, but we’ll fly away to Greece¬†next summer (wink, wink). Doesn’t D look like a Grecian Goddess? I definitely was the paparazzi during the¬†weekend and D was definitely amused.

I’ll be posting about our girls’ trip all week so stay tuned…
