Kangaroos, Koalas & Wallabies; Oh My!

moonlit-sanctuary - 11I couldn’t wait to post these pictures any longer. The day at Moonlit Sanctuary was one of the best days of my life! I had so much fun interacting with kangaroos, koalas and wallabies; oh my! I never in a million years thought that I would ever get a chance like that. I’m still in awe of how all the animals just came up to me and were totally cool about eating out of my hand. Actually, I think my parents may have loved the experience more than I did or my little niece at that. They were totally acting like little kids and it was just awesome to see that.

I really liked this sanctuary because all the animals were well kept and had a lot of freedom to roam around. The koala was so soft and cuddly. I even brushed my face against him. The kangaroos were my favorite just because they were everywhere and they kept coming up to me. I loved it! Overall, it was such an amazing and unreal experience. If I had more time to go back again this trip I totally would!moonlit-sanctuary - 12

Purple + Green

purple-and-green purple-and-greenpurple-and-greenpurple-and-greenI’m officially on winter break and it feels wonderful! Sleeping in until seven this morning felt amazing. I’m definitely looking forward to Christmas this week and spending time with my family. Another perk of winter break is being able to enjoy the city and do things I usually can’t during the day. Hence, taking a stroll downtown and finding new local hotspots.

My purple + green outfit is a bit weird, but I love it! Even in winter, I love wearing dresses and fun colored tights add a little bit of my funky flare.

Stay warm out there Chicagoans, I hear it’s going to get chillier this week.

Cream of the Crop

The cream of the crop (top) trend this summer is the crop top. I, myself, have been rocking and loving them especially with high-wasted skirts. They are very playful and just the right amount of belly shows and besides it’s summer, why not show some extra skin for an extra dose of¬†Vitamin D. I got this cute floral crop top from Aritzia in New York a few weeks back when they had crazy sales. It’ll even be easy to transition and layer into my fall wardrobe because I like wearing pieces for multiple seasons.
