Do you ever go window shopping with no intention of buying something just to browse for inspiration and then stumble upon a magical dress for the right price? Well, that’s just what happened with this plum peplum dress which was from Eva Longoria’s Limited collection. It was only $30 because the store was closing, so it’s unfortunate that it closed, but I’m lucky that I found it 🙂 It really is a magical dress because once I’m zipped up, it hugs everything in the right place and the perfect amount. I never wear body forming dresses, but I decided to take a fashion risk with this one and it worked in my favor.
For a brief moment, it was safe to wear this dress with no tights, but it’s back to wearing tights. And since it’s since technically winter, I wore a moto leather jacket to make the dress a bit more funky. I really like the side asymmetrical peplum of this dress because usually peplum goes all around the waist and this one is different, which I like. I also can’t stop wearing these ZARA heels. For their height, they’re actually quite comfortable and basically match my entire winter wardrobe.
On another note, I have a fun girls’ night dinner planned tonight (maybe I’ll wear this ‘lil number again) and I can’t wait! It’s basically the only thing getting me through this dreary rainy day…

I’m all aboard for the new busy week ahead! For some reason, I’m ready to attack the five day work week. I’d rather be busy and doing fun things than being at home watching Hulu or bumming around. I still have time to unwind from being busy, but I like being on the go. I always wonder what my life would look like if I didn’t teach, coach, blog and help out my sister and mom for Limani Designs. I guess life would be a little boring, but thank goodness I don’t have that problem! I will get a little break this week though because cross country coaching ends tomorrow, so I’ll have more time for HAMR and to enjoy all fall activities 🙂 That makes me very happy! I feel a little bit like a train conductor in my overalls, but honestly I love them so much. I got these on super sale at the end of summer at Old Navy and I like how they are a skinny fit and not actually train conductors’ overalls ~hahaha. Next stop…

Fall 2016 is quickly approaching and to prepare for the season (even though I don’t want it to come) I’ve made a list of some must haves. A good leather jacket (options) and leather handbag (options) are great pieces for your wardrobe. I can’t even tell you how old this leather moto jacket is because I’ve had it for so long! Although it might be a splurge for a leather jacket and handbag, they’re really an investment and you’ll get a lot of wear out of them.
A great fitting pair of jeans and booties are also fall musts. I love wearing a classic pair Levi’s and just a simple tee – effortless and comfortable. The temperature is still hot out, so I opted for open toes booties today.
What are some items on your fall 2016 must have list? I’d love to hear your suggestions in the comment section.
