Blue jeans + a blazer is my favorite spring go-to outfit. And can you all guess what my favorite color is?! Honestly, I really do wear jeans and blazers to work at least once a week and since I work in a school, it’s ok to wear my Chucks with them because I’m running around all day 😉 It’s a good combination of dress down and up and in my opinion very chic. Is anybody else on board with this?!
I’m really excited today though because spring break officially begins at 3:05 P.M. I can’t wait for a much needed break. I’ll definitely be blogging about my trip when I get back, but if you want real-time updates follow me on SnapChat & Instagram @hallwaysrunways. Salt Lake City and Denver here I come!
My quest for the perfectweekender bag has been accomplished and wouldn’t it be nice if the weekend lasted five days instead of just two?! You have no idea how much is packed into this bag and since my spring break is coming up, I’ll definitely have to show you how I pack. The bag is canvas with leather accents and for a special touch, I splurged another ten dollars to get it monogrammed. I figured this is a great investment piece, so why not. (Side note, it’s non-returnable when monogrammed.) I can’t wait to jet out of Chicago real soon. One of my favorite trends for this season that I’ve been wearing for years is menswear. I definitely love getting all dolled up and wearing dainty/feminine dresses, but there is something casually cool about menswear. Wide leg pants with unfitted and long tops makes the look effortless. I feel just as confident and pretty in a dress as in an outfit like this. I also love my sneakers and wear them with everything! It wouldn’t be a twist on menswear without a pretty vintage bangle and an amazing H belt!!
