The color yellow always makes me smile and so do summer flowers (daisies). Read More
Isn’t this daisy necklace sooo summer?! My ‘lil sis sure knows my style 🙂 She got me this necklace in Spain, so every time I wear it I pretend I’m on vacation there. I know it’s a bit silly, but you have to have fun with fashion and have an imagination! Summer style to me, is effortless like this black shift dress and the most comfy espadrilles. Summer is just the greatest.
To celebrate how great summer is, there are some fun events coming up in the city this week:

Now let’s go celebrate!!
I went from transitioning my summer florals to fall florals, then wearing my fall florals to wearing my winter florals all within two weeks. I feel like winter is rapidly approaching and I’m not ready for it (stay away polar vortex). I suppose if I’m going to have to deal with colder weather, I might as well try to keep some summer vibes alive with these pretty daisies. This is currently the cutest and most fun sweater in my closet right now and the coziest. I like wearing bold statement sweaters like this one and try to stay away from those mundane sweaters that bring those winter blues and not the pretty blue hues. If I’m going to be cold, I might as well wear something cute and warm.
On a side note, I’m officially an aunt for the first time. My younger sister Afroditi, who lives in Melbourne, gave birth to a healthy baby girl this weekend. I’m so happy for her and her husband and can’t wait to meet baby Vasiliki!! Sending virtual congratulatory summer daisies to Australia.
Have a great week everybody!
