Love is definitely in the air in Bucktown! I wouldn’t want to live in any other Chicago neighborhood. It also just happens that one of my favorite artists, Matthew Hoffman’s new love art installation is in Bucktown. A couple of years ago, I saw his You Are Beautiful show (1, 2, 3), thanks to my friend DuShaun, and fell in love. A simple and positive message can mean so much. Here’s hoping we all can all help spread the love message because love is all we really need! <3

Hosier Lane

I think I have found street art heaven! Hosier Lane in downtown Melbourne is such a unique place – an alleyway filled with symbolic art that constantly changes. I loved admiring all the street art and interpreting the messages. It was hard to pick one favorite mural when the whole alley was filled with tons of art. We were especially lucky because we saw a street artist in action. I highly recommend visiting this area when in Melbourne. WELCOME to the new and improved HAMR! I couldn’t wait for it to go live and it’s finally here. I had been working with Angie and Nana for several months and I’m so so so happy with the new design and platform. These ladies are seriously the best. They took my vision of what I wanted HAMR to look like and made it into a reality. I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work, creativity and countless hours of email correspondence and answering all of my questions.

Honestly, I can’t even begin to thank everybody who reads HAMR and supports me. It really means a lot and I’m truly humbled by the deep support. HAMR started off as an outlook of self-expression, but has really transitioned to something I am very proud of and will continue to grow. I hope you will join me into the next chapter of HAMR, so sit back and enjoy the ride with me!
