Well, it’s cold again in the city. The good news is that I can’t go wrong wearing black on black on black. You might recall a trend, that when it gets cold out, I tend to wear my all black uniform. It’s the perfect go-to look, effortless and timeless. It you look closely though, you can see the tiny details – which I’m all about. Here’s to one more week of winter break!
I’m in love with the dress in today’s post! Yesterday my goddaughter’s parents got married so I rented the runway for my first time and am absolutely ecstatic about how everything went. I opted for this stunning Monique Lhuiller Double Time two-toned blue gown that matched perfectly with my funky shoes! The entire process of choosing the dress and having the in-store option for pickup was great. Aside, from the prices which are ridiculously amazing for such beautiful gowns, the best part is that all I have to do now is go to a UPS dropbox and mail the dress back. I felt so beautiful in this gown and had so much fun twirling around on the dance floor as their wedding guest 🙂
As a bonus, all new users may use the code FIRSTRTR25X75X for $25 off your first rental of $75+. There are so many dresses and styles to choose from and even accessories too. You can even get a second size for free! I’m not sure how this will help my dress obsession, but I’m happy to feed my addiction. Rent the Runway: Monique Lhuillier & Halogen: Heels
My new fabric combination of lately is chambray + linen. I’m definitely a repeat offender when it comes to my chambray shirts, but I just love how you can wear them with anything. I got this skirt last summer and had originally only worn it with a tank top. I wanted to switch up the look, so of course I wore it with one of my chambray shirts. This is the perfect summer daytime look and I only had to look within my closet to put it altogether!
