Mörk

mork-inside - 3One thing that I really loved about Melbourne, aside from family and street art, was that almost all the cute little shops and restaurants were hidden. You really have to know the area or have somebody tell you what the facade of the place looks like. I actually ate and drank my way through discovering Melbourne and Mörk helped me. This was the cutest hot chocolate shop and it hit the spot for a chilly day.

Mod

mod05Back to the life, back to reality… It’s Monday and spring break is officially over… Sad panda. It’s okay though because this just means summer break is getting closer by the second. The break was really nice because I definitely relaxed and drank a lot of coffee. A lot of coffee. Aside from hanging out with friends, I also pampered myself this week.

This might sound weird, but one of my favorite things is when people play with my hair or style it. So it was perfect when I went to Civello’s Young Talent Salon and got the best hair and scalp head therapy session ever. Honestly, I may have dozed off a bit, but I couldn’t help it, it felt sooo good and the oils smelled wonderful. The hair fun continued when Taylor, my stylist, gave my hair a mod blowout. She made my hair so soft and somehow seem longer!

In honor of Earth Day and clean water and products, the Young Talent Salon is having $15 blowouts on April 13th from 4-8PM and if you are unable to attend this event, the regular $20 blowout is still a steal along with hair cuts at $25 and color at $40+.

Spotted

Spotted. I found the perfect winter dress. Although it has short sleeves, it’s a thicker material. I wore it with this awesome Theory bomber jacket that I found at Crossroads Trading for $45. That place is seriously amazing.  Don’t worry I have a couple more pieces from there that were practically given to me coming up. This is definitely my go-to outfit for this season.

On another note, this is one of my last posts with my long hair (eek!) I’m loving my new shorter hair though. Plus, I feel so different, in a good way. Change is good and it’s just hair at the end of the day – it will grow back. I hope you’ll like it too when I post (soon as well).

Have a great week everybody!

xoxo,

lovepeggy
