Cutouts are one of my ultimate favorite styles. Summer definitely means shorter hemlines and exposed shoulders 😉 This dress can easily go from day to night with a quick switch of shoes and bag style. Click here to see how I wore this bag as a clutch. I’m still keeping accessories to a minimum because of the heat, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t cute – like my favorite vintage bangle!

Pavé Lariat

I’m loving the extra sunshine and the good weather we’re having and the fact that I can shed some layers and wear some pretty dainty items like this pavé lariat necklace. Isn’t she so gorgeous with the right amount of sparkle?! I’m also loving the fact that these pants totally feel like adult pajamas. They were practically giving them away at UAL (United Apparel Liquidators) when I went to Austin in January; wow, that really seems like a lifetime away. Anyway, twenty bucks for Current/Elliot is quite amazing.

More good news: I’m leaving Friday for spring break! I’m going to visit my friend Jill in Salt Lake City and then fly on over to Denver to visit one of my besties from first grade, Kristin. I can’t wait to see these pretty ladies!

Spring Crawler

I’m just going to pretend that spring is crawling towards me… This weekend’s weather was just sooo gorgeous that I’m just going to ignore the fact that snow might be coming again tomorrow. For this in-between weather, I like to wear easy layers. This gray Tee is my go-to shirt from Nordstrom Rack (a steal at under $10 and I might just about have it in every color). Then I like to mix my basics and dress them up a bit by adding a fitted blazer, heels (woohoo -sandals!) and of course accessories.
