I’m definitely desert dreaming over here! Maybe my desert dreams will come true because every time I wear my Jambu shoes, I always turn into an Adventurer! I’m also thinking that Sahalie will bring me good luck as well because they, too, have an adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. I don’t think my stars could be anymore aligned! Crossing my fingers…

I’m kind of obsessed with this entire outfit. Where to begin?! From the coziest gray sweater with a pop of color layer, to the fun fringe earrings and the lace chambray drawstring pants everything is sooo chic and comfortable. This is the perfect spring outfit that can easily be transitioned to summer or those cool desert nights or some exploring in the conservatory 😉 I’m also a huge fan of these Naomi shoes. I can wear these all day without my feet getting tired even with the wedge because of the memory foam. I also love that they are eco-friendly made with recycled rubber. Now that’s a shoe with a good cause.

Slouchy Tunic

These freezing temperatures won’t keep me from working out, thanks to my new favorite slouchy tunic. I love how versatile this top is from Shop The Mint and with a price tag of only $24 – you need them all! I can wear this top to barre/pilates/yoga class (my class combines all of them) and then wear as athleisure wear or even on weekends running errands. I’ll definitely post other ways to wear this top (and perhaps in another color soon) because I want to get the most wear out of it and a classic baseball tee (with a fun pocket) is always a good staple piece to have in your closet 🙂

Adventurer

Lately, I’ve been quite the adventurer! I love being on summer break because I get to explore the outdoors more and really appreciate nature. Last week I went to Starved Rock State Park with my sister and brother-in-law and we had so much fun on a hike. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the park was and how we felt like we were in a completely different place other than Illinois! I highly recommend going there if you need a little escape from the city.

Earlier this summer, I went on an amazing volunteering trip to the Dominican Republic. I did have some time though to explore the natural beauty of the country as well. If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Dominican Republic, I HIGHLY recommend going to the Damajaqua Cascades (27 Waterfalls)! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I went with my friend Sapna and some other friends we met on the cruise and had the most fun day ever. Waterfalls are my favorite natural element and I couldn’t help myself from smiling and laughing the whole time because I really was having the time of my life (I may have swallowed some water due to this, but it didn’t matter)!!! Also, definitely stop by Las Cuevas De Cabarate for some cave jumping and swimming.

What both of these adventures had in common was my Jambu Oklahoma shoes! They are seriously the most comfortable exploring shoes ever and without them, I don’t believe my adventures could have been as fun as they were. They were able to keep my feet safe and cute while trekking through waterfalls and trails.
