Day three of the Nashville mini trip brought us back to Louisville. Since there was going to be a lot of driving that day and with a lot of Sunday night fun beforehand, we decided that stopping back in Louisville for a little more exploring and lunch would do the trick for us and make our way back to Chicago a bit more laid back. I really like traveling with D because we don’t really put a lot of stress on seeing or doing a certain number of things and we each get to do what we want.

Since I knew we had to be in the car for several hours this outfit was both on the comfy and chic sides. This lacy top is an oldie, but a goodie and I even have it in blue too. While on vacation, I usually like to keep my looks a bit more low key and easy, but still put together and that can be transitioned from day to night without much effort. This also eliminates bringing a lot clothes and carrying excess weight. What I really liked about this trip was just leaving home for a bit and exploring new places even though it wasn’t to anywhere exotic or on a different continent, I had a great time with one of my best friends and that’s all that matters.
