It's Bean Real - 1It’s bean real, weekend and oh how I miss you so already… The good news is that I only have six more Mondays left of the school year! WOW – I can’t believe it. Then everyday will be Saturday and amazing like this past weekend. I finally went to the Van Gogh Bedrooms exhibit and it was amazing. I highly suggest going if you live in Chicago because the exhibit will close on May 10th. After soaking in some art, my cousin and I strolled around Millennium Park for a bit. Even if you live in Chicago, you have to stop by the Bean not just because it’s a city staple, but the people watching is amazing. Funny how a little sunshine really helped out my soul. Here’s hoping to a wonderful week ahead!

Blue Jeans + Blazer

Jeans + Blazer - 1Blue jeans + a blazer is my favorite spring go-to outfit. And can you all guess what my favorite color is?! Honestly, I really do wear jeans and blazers to work at least once a week and since I work in a school, it’s ok to wear my Chucks with them because I’m running around all day 😉 It’s a good combination of dress down and up and in my opinion very chic. Is anybody else on board with this?!

I’m really excited today though because spring break officially begins at 3:05 P.M. I can’t wait for a much needed break. I’ll definitely be blogging about my trip when I get back, but if you want real-time updates follow me on SnapChat & Instagram @hallwaysrunways. Pavé Lariat

pave lariat - 2I’m loving the extra sunshine and the good weather we’re having and the fact that I can shed some layers and wear some pretty dainty items like this pavé lariat necklace. Isn’t she so gorgeous with the right amount of sparkle?! I’m also loving the fact that these pants totally feel like adult pajamas. They were practically giving them away at UAL (United Apparel Liquidators) when I went to Austin in January; wow, that really seems like a lifetime away. Anyway, twenty bucks for Current/Elliot is quite amazing.

More good news: I’m leaving Friday for spring break! I’m going to visit my friend Jill in Salt Lake City and then fly on over to Denver to visit one of my besties from first grade, Kristin. I can’t wait to see these pretty ladies!
