Spring Crawler

I’m just going to pretend that spring is crawling towards me… This weekend’s weather was just sooo gorgeous that I’m just going to ignore the fact that snow might be coming again tomorrow. For this in-between weather, I like to wear easy layers. This gray Tee is my go-to shirt from Nordstrom Rack (a steal at under $10 and I might just about have it in every color). Then I like to mix my basics and dress them up a bit by adding a fitted blazer, heels (woohoo -sandals!) and of course accessories. Santa I Texted You My List

What adult doesn’t want to text Santa their wish list? I can’t believe Christmas is just two days away! I hope everybody has completed their shopping lists and is ready to spend some quality time with friends and family – I know I am. I guess Santa did respond to my text after all because it is just gorgeous in Chicago. A little snow wouldn’t hurt, but I’m not complaining. Have a Merry Christmas!

Leopard IS a Neutral

Leopard IS a neutral, if you ask me. My go to outfit is usually a denim (chambray) shirt with black jeans. I love this effortless look because it gives just enough contrast, yet it’s so easy to pair these neutrals with other neutrals or pops of color.

I couldn’t help myself when I found these leopard print booties at Old Navy on sale for only $13! They are the perfect fall booties that coordinate well with my (sister’s) leopard bracelet, tortoise frames and cat ring, of course. I may also have this thing with cat prints 😉

On a side note, it’s my 400th blog post and it’s finally NOVEMBER (my favorite month)!! Have an awesome week HAMR readers!
