I’m so excited for spring to arrive that I took my own advice from yesterday’s Trend Report post and let my toes free from thermal sock hostage! Aren’t these the cutest Peek-A-Boo shoes ever from The Mint Julep Boutique?! The color and fit are perfect for this transition weather we’re having in Chicago. I’m ready to start wearing them in heavy rotation, so I hope you all don’t mind.

As a bonus, The Mint Julep Boutique and I have teamed up for a $25 gift card giveaway for one lucky HAMR reader. I can’t wait to see what you pick out from the shop! Good luck!

Trend Report: Mules

Well since it’s March, it’s perfectly okay to start thinking about spring trends even though it’s still snowing out. Mules are perfect for that in between weather change. They’re not quite sandals or boots, but a hybrid between the two. I know I’m tired of my snow boots, so mules are great for prepping your feet for sandal weather. Your toes will thank you for releasing them from thermal sock hostage!

Tuesday Trends: Birkenstock

BirkenstockWelcome to Tuesday Trends! The first feature is a bit of a throwback that’s making a comeback. I remember wearing Birkenstock clogs in junior high back in the 90s. They definitely had competition with my Dr. Martens though. I recently ordered myself the Golden Brown Gizeh sandals and I feel like I’m walking on clouds. They are the most comfortable sandals I currently own and the shimmer color adds that girly touch I love.
