Today I’m sharing two of my favorite winter ear accessories. This earcuff is really a set of earrings, but by itself it’s also perfect. I haven’t honestly worn any earrings in my cartilage since I got the piercing when I was eighteen and don’t even get me started on how much it hurt to get, but I’m glad that I have it now. I guess some decisions I made when I was that young turned out to be okay. My other favorite ear accessory are these amazing 14K gold pyramid studs. They are already on heavy rotation.
Aside my ear accessories, my favorite makeup product is this amazing blue mascara! I’m obsessed. I highly recommend wearing color mascara because it makes your eyes pop without wearing a lot of makeup. I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, but I never leave my apartment without mascara. Be bold, try some color mascara and start seeing stars!

This week’s trend report is out of this world – stars! Whether you like a bold statement or a subtle one, anybody can shine bright when wearing stars. My favorite way to always incorporate a trend into my look is through accessorizing. I’d definitely would pair the clutch with an all black look (all black is kind of my thing lately) and add pop of color with some fun heels. How would you style this trend?

I’m already gearing up for the 4th of July this upcoming weekend by channeling Ms. July in this playful printed stars pocket dress. Nothing says America like red, white and blue especially sitting on a Chicago Fire Department truck. Besides holiday fashion, I’m really looking forward to a bbq this weekend and some quality time with the sun and even possibly watching fireworks at the park. What are you plans for the holiday weekend?
