Black & Cream

black-and-creamScrolling through my last outfit posts, it’s evident that black and white are my staple winter colors. I switched it up a bit by wearing black and cream. I know, very different right?! Actually, the cream “top” is a dress. This is a great way to get more wear out of an article of clothing and nobody can really tell the difference, unless obviously you tell them. Another way to get more wear out a dress is to wear a sweater over it. Again, from one dress you have three different looks; a must for a budget-friendly closet.

Jogging Around The City

Last weekend I was seriously jogging around the city. It was such a busy weekend and I had to be at different neighborhoods every day. I guess I wasn’t jogging, but running around instead. I attended all three days of Riot Fest amidst the rain, cold and massive amounts of mud all while trying to do work things and attending a blogger brunch with a few of my blogger buddies. Kit seriously was a great host and she even had quite the spread for a build your own avocado toast bar. I mean how could I pass on having brunch at one of my favorite food blogger’s places? Also, her place had this killer view of the city – the perfect backdrop for these photos. Thank goodness I wore my joggers because they were so comfortable and chic, if I do say so myself.
