Unicorn

unicorn in the springThe Internet these days is obsessed with the new unicorn frappuccino, but apparently I just like to dress like one. I swear it was a coincidence that I wore this several days ago and now you can’t even look at social media without seeing everybody’s photos of the unicorn drink. Has anybody actually tried it and liked it? Just curious.

Anyway, it always seems that shorter work weeks seem longer, but I’m grateful that it’s finally the weekend even though it’s going to be a busy one! I’m hoping I can fit in another spring stroll because taking walks make me happy. I always look forward to spring because to me, it means that the school year is almost over and that I can focus on some new beginnings. Plus, the nicer weather always puts me in a better mood. What does everybody have going on this weekend?

Off The Shoulder

off the shoulder - 2This is, by far, my favorite summer outfit! This Topshop floral off the shoulder crop top is the most comfortable and chic article of clothing in my closet right now and I got it on super sale (only $14)! I’m also still embracing my love of these high-waisted skinny jeans from Australia. I think I wore this outfit pretty much every other day last week just to clarify my love for it. What’s your favorite summer go-to outfit? Here’s hoping there is some summer still left in Chicago because today sure is chilly. off the shoulder - 7 off the shoulder - 3 off the shoulder - 4 off the shoulder - 5 off the shoulder - 6Topshop: Top // Dejour: Jeans (option, option) // Franco Sarto: Heels (love thesesimilar heel height/style) // Unicorn Necklace (option)

Two

twotwotwotwotwotwotwotwotwotwoTwo. Wow! Today marks my second blogiversary, if you couldn’t tell. I’m definitely in awe of what HAMR has evolved into in just two years and am so happy and appreciative of all the love and support from my readers.

I started HAMR two years ago with a mindset of self-discovery and documenting my evolving style. It was also a creative outlet for both my sister, Eleni and I to share our creativity and to focus our attention away from our day jobs; plus, it gave us an excuse to hang out together since we didn’t live together anymore. Eleni (and my mom Angie, who make up Limani Designs) not only takes my photos, but she’s really my number one supporter and I’d be lost without her.

I can’t even begin to thank everybody else who has supported me and has been here for me. So many great opportunities have happened with HAMR over the last year and I’m still amazed by it all. I’ve also met a great network of bloggers this past year and have formed some great friendships.

If you asked me last year if I expected any of this, I would have said no. I’ve been growing side by side with HAMR these last couple of years and I’m really excited to see what’s next for us.

XOXO,
Peggy
