Thanksgiving

Today I spent the day at my parents’ home celebrating Thanksgiving, or should I say I ate through the day. Eleni, (my older Chicago sister not to be confused with my younger Melbourne sister, Afroditi) has an event planning company, Limani Designs and together, along with my mom, we created the tablescape look for dinner which was vintage holiday inspired, hence the pops of pink. The books and my mom’s hand knit cream table cloth were perfect additions to the look. Eleni takes all of my pictures so I’m very thankful for her! I’m definitely also thankful for my parents and siblings and I can’t wait for all four of us (including Dio – my New York brother) to be together again in a couple of weeks. We haven’t been together since Afroditi’s wedding in Athens last summer. I’m truly thankful each and every day for my family who have always been there for me. On a side note, the gold accents (which is actually the world map) on this skirt totally represent my worldly family.
