I’m seriously missing that cruise life.. I can’t believe that I’ve been back already from the Dominican Republic for almost two weeks with Fathom. Why does summer always feel like it rushes?! Take it easy June.. I can’t wait to share with you my grand adventure over the next couple of blog posts. There was just so much goodness that it’s been taking me a while to organize everything and to write about my experience through words that only my heart could describe. Every time I travel somewhere, I take a bit of it back with me in my heart, but this was a really special trip and I’ve taken more then a piece for my heart, but something so special is permanently ingrained in my soul. More on that to come..
Since this was my first cruise (a different kind of cruise – more on that soon, I promise) I definitely learned a lot and brought back some extra pounds to prove it (I never knew I could eat so much)! When I was prepping for the trip, I had a hard time packing because I wanted to bring “cute” clothes for the ship, but I also needed “practical” clothes for when I would be volunteering. As you can see, the struggle was real. The good news was that my bag was underweight (small victories are worth celebrating)!
