An all black combination with a pop of gold is always festive for holiday season and especially channeling your inner most toy soldier!
Actually, I’m just really excited about this look because I’m finally going to go see The Nutcracker next week and I can’t wait! If wearing a military/band jacket is wrong, then I don’t want to be right 😉 I invested in this jacket last year along with a red variation as well and I’m so happy that I did. At first, I thought I wouldn’t get a lot of wear out of them, but I’ve been trying to find multiple ways of wearing them these past two years and they both have proven their worth in my closet. Thank goodness because I almost had talked myself out of purchasing them for budget purposes.
These pants have also been on heavy rotation ever since I got them. They are the perfect fit for me and I wear them to work with blouses and sweaters and for a bold look at night with this velvet bralette. The fact that it wasn’t below zero and snowing had to be celebrated this weekend and this velvet bralette gave me confidence to be comfortable in my skin. I’ve been wanting to wear an outfit like this for a while and I’m glad I finally did. Dressing every day really is about confidence and feeling comfortable in your own skin and I definitely felt both in this outfit. That’s the fun part about fashion, it’s that you can experiment with different looks and see what you like. Can we also talk about how cute this takeout handbag is?! My friend Monica got me it for my birthday and I’m obsessed with it!
Stay tuned this week for some fun holiday looks!
