Good vibes only ✌️ This is definitely my mantra this year, even though we’re only about two months into 2019. In life, and in general, be true to yourself, be original, be honest and be authentic. These words haven’t been truer. Some recents events in my life have been testing me, but they’ve only made me stronger. They’ve reminded me to surround myself with exceptional people who want the best for me and vice versa. When you least expect it, those people who really care about you will step up and do what’s right and speak the truth. You know that these are real friends and that they want the best for you. I know this reads as a cryptic post, but the underlying message is that you don’t have to worry if you’re doing something wrong if you’re original and authentic.

In other news, it’s still freezing in Chicago and sweater weather is still going strong. At least the sun is shining and there are wonderful messages all around the city to remind me that life is good and I’m happy to be who I am.
