Where Art Meets Fashion

A few weeks back, I attended “The Collection: Where Art Meets Fashion” launch party at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago. The Collection, public art throughout the center featuring contemporary artwork, has been around since 2013, but now The Collection features nationally and internationally renowned artists and rotating exhibitions three times a year. Click here to see the artists that are currently featured. Macerich has poured in over one million dollars to support the program which is amazing for the arts. President Edward C. Coppola, of Macerich, has stated that the new art program will help reinforce our commitment to providing Macerich shoppers with a unique experience and help establish Fashion Outlets of Chicago as a true cultural destination. Which has been establishing itself the last couple of years in the Chicagoland area.

I had such a fun time at the event because it combined all my favorite activities all under one roof: art, fashion and food. Below are a few shots from the event. The Fashion Outlets of Chicago is a great place to visit, especially on chilly days, because they truly have so many things to do there. It’s easy to get to from the city and you can definitely spend a lot of time shopping, eating, art gazing, etc. I’ll keep you updated when new artists are rotating though, but in the meantime, if anybody needs a shopping/art buddy let me know and I’ll meet ya there 😉
