Thirty-three. WOW. Well, today is my birthday. And I honestly don’t feel old at all. I’ve actually been waiting for this birthday to come around because there’s this term called, Jesus Year. It’s not religious or anything like that, but it represents a year of adventure, growing wisdom and a year of fulfilling promises. I heard about this a while back and it really stuck. I’m hoping this year will be my best year yet and my happiest. It’s taken me a while to be comfortable with myself and to surround myself with genuine people who care about me and vice versa , but I think I’ve figured out some things and where I belong.

Last week’s election results have really affected me and all I want to say about that is that I’m going to continue to surround myself with positive people and people that have the same beliefs and values as I do. My life motto truly has a deeper meaning now, more than ever ~ “You have to look good, to feel good, to do good,” and that’s what I am going to continue to do. With that, I have some more celebrating to do tonight.
