I love being different and finding unique pieces of clothing and I’ve recently discovered and branched out to this awesome company that has unique items for the home, UncommonGoods. I love how each item is carefully categorized and has a story about the artist. I know when I’m trying to find the perfect gift for my friends and family, I search forever for that just right gift for people that mean a lot to me. I don’t just want to get something that everybody else has, so UncommonGoods is the perfect destination for something different and it is a huge timesaver. Many of the items can be personalized which add that extra special touch. Is it bad that I also want to buy myself all the gifts?!
Their website is easy to navigate and you can search by price or category. UncommonGoods’ mission is making sustainability a part of every decision they make. Not only are they a green company to the environment, but to their workplace and to the world. They are environmentally friendly and socially responsible which started a branch of their company called B Corporation. B Corporation helps customers understand the impact of their purchases which are handmade, recycled and organic. I feel like this is a dream company, to be honest, and can they be any more green?! Actually, yes! They also are conscious about their paper catalogs and are part of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) which reduces the amount of paper printed and moving towards everything being online. They’ve also started another program, Better To Give, which donates $1 from each purchase at checkout to your preference of a non-profit organization. Oh yeah, they also donate to the IRC (International Rescue Committee) who’s mission is to aid refugees and families affected by conflict across the globe and this month they are doubling their donations. WOW. So let’s get shopping 🙂
