School days just seem to be blurring together already. Β It’s been a month since I’ve been back to school and in some ways it feels like no time has passed, but at the same time it feels like the school year is moving along rapidly. It’s always an adjustment starting a new school year, but I think I’m at the point where I feel good about where the rest of the year will go.
This is my fourteenth year in education and it’s a bit crazy. I really don’t know how fourteen years have flown by. Sometimes I still feel fresh out of undergrad and maybe it’s because my middle schoolers keep me feeling young. Sometimes way too young π.
I’m also finally getting back into a HAMR groove. I took a little break this summer from blogging and just needed some personal time away from the Internet. It’s always good to take a step back and reevaluate where things have been and where you want them to go. Nothing bad happened, I just felt the need to soak up summer than at my laptop. But with fall fast approaching, it looks like I’ll be back in front of my laptop a lot!
A few weeks back, my friend Samantha and I checked out Universal Standard. They’re all about size inclusivity and flexibility based on how your body changes without compromising great quality. This linen dress is super chic and so versatile. Although it’s linen, it can definitely be worn multiple seasons. Asides the cut, I LOVE how this dress has pockets! There’s nothing worse at work than not having pockets and I’m glad this one does. How did we girls live without pockets in our dresses for so many years?! It should just be (universal) standard at this point! I’ll write another blog post documenting my experience at Universal Standard and the entire process.

Thank you! I can’t believe how we just made it through the first mid quarter.
