[show_shopthepost_widget id=”2718084″]I can’t believe that I’ve had this sea foam dress for 7 years! I bought it in Rhodes, Greece, to wear to my sister’s, Eleni, engagement party. It was the perfect summer dress then and it still is. Not to toot my own horn, but I was totally ahead of the trends with the flutter sleeves. That’s my favorite part of the dress, oh and how it’s made of silk! This is the only silk dress I have ever had and I love how it feels when I wear it. I’m also impressed with myself because I’ve kept it in great condition, making this investment a successful one 🙂
On a side note, not all things are fun and games like this underwater mural. On Thursday night, I broke my foot and now I’m in a temporary cast and using crutches. I’m trying to make the best out of my current situation and to laugh it off as much as possible. I’m seeing a podiatry specialist in a few days, so hopefully I’ll get a better idea of a recovery time. In the meantime, scroll all the way down for some hospital photos. I’m not in much pain, but I did cry just a little bit when I heard it was broken and not sprained. Never take your feet for granted, people!!! On that note, be safe and careful this weekend.
Oh no! How did that happen?
I know 🙁 I just misstepped walking off a curb and my shoe/foot twisted weirdly. Hopefully, I’ll recover quickly.
Awww, I can’t believe you broke your foot — that sucks Peggy! It sounds like you have the right attitude and hopefully you have a speedy recovery!
xo, Sarah
I know, I can’t believe it either!! Thank you for your well wishes 🙂 XO!
I love this dress, always have!! You look great in it and it’s so Peggy!! Also, I think you have been a great sport with a broken foot!!
It’s one of my favorites 🙂 I’m so happy my foot is finally healed!
