This past month, I was selected to be a judge as part of the LifeStyle Collective’s Summer Beauty Awards and the winners are finally in! It was really fun testing out lots of beauty products and although all the judges’ scores were compiled for the final awards, below are my favorite products.
This Josie Maran whipped argan oil body butter is by far, the best lotion I have ever used in my life! It’s sooo smooth and it smells heavenly. I don’t ever think I can use another lotion in my life. Take my recommendation and try it for yourself! My second favorite beauty product is Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara. The black mascara is very bold and doesn’t clump your lashes together. I also really love the bluecolor if you yourself are feeling a bit bold 😉Surprisingly, my third favorite item is this Medi-Matte Perfected Oil Control Tinted Moisturizer. I really don’t like wearing foundation at all and I basically don’t wear much makeup up in the summer or in general in all, but this tinted moisturizer was refreshingly nice. It really hydrated my skin and at the same time made me a little tanner while not feeling heavy on my face at all. The medium color and the SPF 20 sure make this a sun-free friendly product.Last, but not least, in my top four list is this Unwash hydrating hair masque. It’s a great mask to repair summer damaged hair within minutes. I use this about once a week to give my hair an extra boost of softness.

HAMR: Where did you get the idea for TheStylisted?
TS: We got the idea from being invited to so many weddings and were tired of going to get out makeup done at makeup counters and having makeup caked on. We wanted a great experience with people we trusted and wanted to fulfill the high demand of freelance professionals.HAMR: What is TheStylisted all about?
TS: TheStylisted is a service which allows women to book in-home styling and makeup appointments through a network of rated professionals. Appointments are typically booked twelve hours prior for a desired appointment. We have fulfilled all requests to date and special requests through email.HAMR: Will you be branching out to other markets?
TS: So far we are in New York and Chicago and hope to branch out to other markets as well.HAMR: What is the main service trending right now?
TS: Our bookings for hair and makeup are about the same.HAMR: What are your go-to beauty products?
