Brighton Bathing Boxes - 14What a beautiful day it was at Brighton Beach. Although we didn’t go for an actual swim, I did dip my toes in the ocean (sooo cold)! It was so fun looking at all the creative beach boxes. In the summer time, apparently this beach is the place to be with an abundance of activities. I’d sure love come back and have a bbq in one of those beach boxes! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Brighton Bathing Boxes - 1 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 3 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 4 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 6 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 7 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 8 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 9 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 10Brighton Bathing BoxesBrighton Bathing Boxes - 11 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 12Brighton Bathing Boxes - 2 Brighton Bathing Boxes - 13Banana Republic: Sweater // Levi’s: Jeans (option) // Abound: T-Shirt (option) // Buckfeet c/o: Elephant Sneakers

It was such fun experience shooting with Jackie and Shane, from Crain’s, at the Field Museum. And a special thank you to Lucille at the museum for letting us roam around to find that perfect location. Click on the link to read the full article and to view all the great shots from the day.

P.S. My elephants sure did feel at “home” with their buddies above.

There’s An Elephant In The Room

It’s always a bit hard at the beginning of the year to go into full swing of a demanding school schedule, but I’m hoping these next few days go by smoothly.

Every year, I like celebrating the new year by getting a new dress, for no particular reason other than I really like dresses. This year, eShakti sent me this awesome print dress with elephants. In a nutshell, you can customize any dress by inputting your measurements and deciding what length and style you like at a reasonable price point. My dress feels magical and feels like I went and got it tailored and designed exactly to my body. Well, I actually did. I picked the print I wanted and originally, this dress was knee length and sleeveless, so I made it mini-style and added cap sleeves. You too can be your own designer and get a custom-made dress and today is your lucky day because it’s buy one, get one free!
