It’s my first style post from Melbourne. I know it’s not a scene from the city, but it’s a beautiful background nonetheless. It’s hard to believe it’s winter here considering I’m not wearing tights and it’s so sunny (ok, minus the minor wind during these photos). Today was a special occasion, my niece got baptized. She was absolutely beautiful even though she cried a bit. Since my niece’s name is a variation of basil, I thought I matched the event with my palm floral dress.

The cream of the crop (top) trend this summer is the crop top. I, myself, have been rocking and loving them especially with high-wasted skirts. They are very playful and just the right amount of belly shows and besides it’s summer, why not show some extra skin for an extra dose of Vitamin D. I got this cute floral crop top from Aritzia in New York a few weeks back when they had crazy sales. It’ll even be easy to transition and layer into my fall wardrobe because I like wearing pieces for multiple seasons.
