Spotted. I found the perfect winter dress. Although it has short sleeves, it’s a thicker material. I wore it with this awesome Theory bomber jacket that I found at Crossroads Trading for $45. That place is seriously amazing.  Don’t worry I have a couple more pieces from there that were practically given to me coming up. This is definitely my go-to outfit for this season.

On another note, this is one of my last posts with my long hair (eek!) I’m loving my new shorter hair though. Plus, I feel so different, in a good way. Change is good and it’s just hair at the end of the day – it will grow back. I hope you’ll like it too when I post (soon as well).

Have a great week everybody!

Bright Lights, Big City

bright-lights-big-cityHappy new year HAMR readers! I’m excited for my first post of 2015! Last week, I went on a bit of an end-of-the-year hiatus to New York. It was a much needed break and a fun way to end the year. Since it was my third time visiting NYC this past year, it was a bit more of a chill trip visiting my brother and some friends.

It might be a while until I go back, just because there are so many places I still want to visit, but New York is always inspiring with its bright lights, big city feel. How did you all ring in the new year?

OO O O OO OO. O really? Today’s post is all about my favorite O’s. My older sister, Eleni, is a really great person, if I haven’t told you that already. She’s my number one supporter and my best friend. I always look up to her for advice and am in constant awe of her accomplishments. This is completely different from when we were younger because we would always fight for reasons I can’t even recall, I credit this to my “middle” child syndrome, so I’m definitely glad we, me, grew out of that stage.

My favorite thing I loved growing up was that we shared a room and most importantly a closet. We had an unspoken rule that if I kept the closet organized, I could borrow her clothes. Now, when I go over to her place, let’s just say I always leave with something I can “borrow”; hence, where this sweater came from. This sweater actually has a really cool backstory. When my sister was the manager at The Oprah Store, they had a closet of clothes that Oprah wore and that’s where the softest sweater came from. It’s fun to think that the sweater I’m wearing Oprah and my sister have once worn and it’s from one of the great designers, Oscar.
