Ah, the 90s. A time of growing up in a world of multi-color outfits and my favorite article of clothing – OVERALLS! Yes, you read that correctly. I’m flashing back to 1993 with this look, if you hadn’t noticed already. I believe from a baby through elementary school, even up to senior year of high school (thanks Tommy Hilfiger) I wore overalls like it was my business. I had long ones, short ones, black ones and even ones with sunflowers on them. I’m just glad the business of overalls made a comeback because a good thing should never go out of style.
And if you are reading this and you’ve seen me several times in the last couple of months, YES, I’m wearing the overalls again! An extra bonus in the post is Eleni’s (my older sister) handmade leather purse from Greece we got together the summer of 1993 – authenticity at its finest and such a fashion-forward sixth grader she was.
