odyssey ii cruise - 1If you’re looking for a fun activity to do this weekend, I highly recommend taking an Odyssey Chicago cruise on Lake Michigan. Catch the cruise from Navy Pier and take in the amazing views of the skyline. I had such a fun time at Samantha’s cruise party a few weeks back; we dined, danced and drank the night away! Make sure to take a ride before summer quickly disappears on us.

Have a great weekend!

Fall Maxi Florals

Transitioning into fall can sometimes be difficult. You don’t want to dwell into your winter wardrobe just yet, but you don’t want to let go of your summer wardrobe either. One way of not letting go of that summer wardrobe just yet is by transitioning your favorite article of clothing into a more fall appropriate look.

Take your favorite floral summer maxi dress and just add a leather jacket; right away you have transitioned that summer look into a fall floral look (try saying that three times fast). I love the bright pink florals of this maxi dress because they make me feel happy and definitely brighten my mood. How do you transition your favorite summer article of clothing?

Jogging Around The City

Last weekend I was seriously jogging around the city. It was such a busy weekend and I had to be at different neighborhoods every day. I guess I wasn’t jogging, but running around instead. I attended all three days of Riot Fest amidst the rain, cold and massive amounts of mud all while trying to do work things and attending a blogger brunch with a few of my blogger buddies. Kit seriously was a great host and she even had quite the spread for a build your own avocado toast bar. I mean how could I pass on having brunch at one of my favorite food blogger’s places? Also, her place had this killer view of the city – the perfect backdrop for these photos. Thank goodness I wore my joggers because they were so comfortable and chic, if I do say so myself.
