I’m so excited that it’s actually time for spring in Chicago! We’ve been patiently waiting for her even though we’ve had some sneak peeks of sun, I think spring is actually happening and here to stay. Sometimes I feel like we skip spring and just jump right into summer from winter, but I’m loving this weather. This weekend, especially was amazing and I decided to celebrate and soak up the beautiful weather with some dining al fresco time with my family.

Because I want to spend as much time outside as possible, I keep my spring style simple and quick to put together. I can most likely be found in jeans almost every day with a basic color top to accent my accessories with a little pop of color and a statement piece. Since I’ve been keeping my jewelry also to a minimum lately, I thought it was time, pun intended (; to start wearing a timepiece again. I love this Frankie Zebrawood and Champagne watch from JORD. It’s such a unique timepiece and a piece of art (even the box is so carefully crafted and beautiful) and I’ve received so many compliments! Not only are the watches so cool and different, they represent taking all of life’s moments in and enjoying the journey.
