Spring Crawler

Spring Crawler - 2I’m just going to pretend that spring is crawling towards me… This weekend’s weather was just sooo gorgeous that I’m just going to ignore the fact that snow might be coming again tomorrow. For this in-between weather, I like to wear easy layers. This gray Tee is my go-to shirt from Nordstrom Rack (a steal at under $10 and I might just about have it in every color). Then I like to mix my basics and dress them up a bit by adding a fitted blazer, heels (woohoo -sandals!) and of course accessories. I love layering necklaces and I’m seriously in LOVE with these Pavé Wave Ear Crawlers from Humble Chic NY – they are so delicate and sparkly 🙂 What do you all think of them?! And remember, use the code LIKEIT for 15% off site wide.Spring Crawler - 7Spring Crawler - 3Spring Crawler - 4Spring Crawler - 10Spring Crawler - 6Spring Crawler - 11Spring Crawler - 8Spring Crawler - 12Spring Crawler - 5Spring Crawler - 13Spring Crawler - 1Spring Crawler - 9Humble Chic NY c/o: Pavé Wave Ear Crawlers // GAP: Blazer (option) // Abound via Nordstrom: Gray T-Shirt (option) // BooHoo c/o: Jeans (option) // Nine West c/o Chicago Premium Outlets: Pereira Open Toe Sandals // Ralph Lauren: Sunglasses (option)

daisies daisiesdaisies daisies daisies daisiesdaisiesI went from transitioning my summer florals to fall florals, then wearing my fall florals to wearing my winter florals all within two weeks. I feel like winter is rapidly approaching and I’m not ready for it (stay away polar vortex). I suppose if I’m going to have to deal with colder weather, I might as well try to keep some summer vibes alive with these pretty daisies. This is currently the cutest and most fun sweater in my closet right now and the coziest. I like wearing bold statement sweaters like this one and try to stay away from those mundane sweaters that bring those winter blues and not the pretty blue hues. If I’m going to be cold, I might as well wear something cute and warm.

On a side note, I’m officially an aunt for the first time. My younger sister Afroditi, who lives in Melbourne, gave birth to a healthy baby girl this weekend. I’m so happy for her and her husband and can’t wait to meet baby Vasiliki!! Sending virtual congratulatory summer daisies to Australia.

Have a great week everybody!

italianoitaliano italianoitalianoMy first fashion obsession started with Italiano designers; more specifically, Dolce & Gabbana. Their designs are pure genius and so creative. The silhouettes are also very feminine and timeless. Other designers like Versace and Valentino have also been very influential to me and I spend a generous amount of time admiring their work. Italian designers are so innovative and the details are truly unique and beautiful. This is seriously my dream dress! Although, I would never be able to afford it or this one, I draw from their designs for inspiration.

When I found this dress I immediately fell for the pattern and thought of the intricate embroidery and brocade of my favorite Italian designers. Romeo & Juliet Couture definitely is channeling my favorite type of design and most importantly, my price point. Can you believe this dress was only $19.99?! This is a more casual look, but I can’t wait to show you other ways I’d style this dress.
