twotwotwotwotwotwotwotwotwotwoTwo. Wow! Today marks my second blogiversary, if you couldn’t tell. I’m definitely in awe of what HAMR has evolved into in just two years and am so happy and appreciative of all the love and support from my readers.

I started HAMR two years ago with a mindset of self-discovery and documenting my evolving style. It was also a creative outlet for both my sister, Eleni and I to share our creativity and to focus our attention away from our day jobs; plus, it gave us an excuse to hang out together since we didn’t live together anymore. Eleni (and my mom Angie, who make up Limani Designs) not only takes my photos, but she’s really my number one supporter and I’d be lost without her.

I can’t even begin to thank everybody else who has supported me and has been here for me. So many great opportunities have happened with HAMR over the last year and I’m still amazed by it all. I’ve also met a great network of bloggers this past year and have formed some great friendships.

If you asked me last year if I expected any of this, I would have said no. I’ve been growing side by side with HAMR these last couple of years and I’m really excited to see what’s next for us.

Take a look back to my first blogiversary.

Paris Is Burning

parisisburningparisisburning parisisburningparisisburningparisisburningA crop top plus a Paris Is Burning reference equals pure genius. Well played Madison & Berkeley, well played. Based on the last couple of posts and my clear obsession with crop tops, let’s just say this is one of my favorite tops. It is a bit riskier than Monday’s top, but like I said, when you feel comfortable about a crop then go all out. With a statement top like this, I kept the rest of the look basic black, but definitely kept the party going with both arm and neck soirées.

Crop Top

croptopThe crop top is this week’s feature on Tuesday Trends. Yesterday’s post featured a floral crop top, but today it’s all about the black, white, gray and patterned crop top. Like I said yesterday, crop tops have been this summer’s hottest trends. There are so many ways to wear one without having to feel uncomfortable. My favorite way to wear a crop top is with a high waisted skirt – elastic skirts are great and any length make a great match.

If it’s your first time wearing one, which I love experimenting with new trends, try a longer and basic color one. If you’re feeling bold I highly recommend these awesome patterned tops.

If you try out this trend, @ me on instagram and show me how you styled your crop top or leave a comment below.
